RE: H. R. 1355
Dear Congressman __________:
I strongly request your support and co-sponsorship of H.R.1355: Child Predator Act of 2005, a bill authored by your colleague, House Rep Ted Poe.
Passage of this bill will greatly alleviate some of the loopholes in existing registry laws. The loopholes are used by sexual predators to elude law enforcement. These abhorrent offenders prey on our children, and the separation from mainstream of America to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our Children would be a plus.
We have seen far too many recent news stories; these gaps are killing our children. This must stop now!
My campaign for strengthening federal legislation that pertains to crimes against children will go hand-in-hand with the mid-term elections. Advocates will be in all fifty states, supporting the candidates who share this commitment.
(Name of congressional representative)I thank you for your support in this matter.
Sincerely,
Signature
